On November 10th, 1984, a group of bright, determined and like-minded individuals set out to establish Alpha Chi Omega Zeta Psi at Loyola University New Orleans. Their courage to start a new chapter speaks volumes about who they were, and we’re honored to follow in their footsteps.
Our Sorority represents a group of diverse people who always strive for the highest level of excellence, as our founders intended. Shared goals and interests in areas of service, academics and building solid relationships hold our chapter together and define who we are.
We have the privilege of being led by exceptional individuals who have demonstrated the courage and flexibility needed to run our Sorority. Their leadership skills have helped us grow, expand and become the chapter we are today. Learn more about our Executive Board members below, and feel free to get in touch.
Our Zeta Psi chapter President of Alpha Chi Omega leads with precision, grace and excellence. Her outstanding organizational skills and ability to adapt to a variety of situations makes her a truly amazing Chapter President.
VP CHAPTER RELATIONS AND STANDARDS
As Vice President of Chapter Relations and Standards, I encourage my sisters to exceed our membership criteria daily and exemplify our shared values to promote Alpha Chi Omega on our campus. I love this position as I help all my sisters promote our standards as real, strong women.
I enjoy applying the skills that I learn though my classes to my position and implementing leadership practices to ensure the highest rate of collection and financial responsibility in our chapter. Additionally, I prioritize optimizing the available funds to aid in retention and fun!
VP MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMMING
As VP Membership Programming my duty is to strengthen our bond as sisters by organizing fun, heartfelt, creative events. This year, I plan to inspire sisterhood bonding within Zeta Psi by holding many different events that our sisters will enjoy. I love my position as sisterhood is something I hold very close to my heart. I am so excited to see what this year holds for our sisters!
SYDNEY SAN AGUSTIN
VP INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT
Being a part of such an amazing organization such as Alpha Chi Omega, I am honored to be serving in an exec position. With my drive, leadership and organizational skills, I can help my sisters achieve their goals. I plan to provide the chapter with resources such as a class rating sheet, a new point system to encourage academic achievements and sister bonding study sessions. Overall, I hope to make this chapter a better place for current and future members.
VP RITUAL AND FRATERNITY APPRECIATION
I am so lucky to be able to serve my chapter through our rituals and ceremonies which are so special. These rituals and traditions bring us together and strengthen our sisterhood bonds. I am ready to help our sisters get more excited about our ceremonies and show what makes Alpha Chi Omega so special and unique!
I want us to be the chapter that doesn’t just talk the talk, I want us to walk the walk. Our philanthropy is so important because it will affect us all directly or indirectly, or both at some point or another. It is our responsibility to use our strength to help others. When I think of our chapter, I think of women who are motivated leaders and agents for change. I can’t wait to see what we can do to further our philanthropy and support survivors.
VP PUBLIC RELATIONS AND MARKETING
I am so honored to be in charge of PR and Marketing for my sisters. With strategy and creativity, I hope to show the community what our amazing Zeta Psi chapter does and all of the achievements along the way. I am excited to promote this organization and to be able to create connections with other chapters. I love what Alpha Chi Omega stands for and to be able to show that off is the cherry on top.
VP PANHELLENIC DELEGATE
As VP Panhellenic Delegate, I act as a liaison between Alpha Chi Omega and the Panhellenic Council. With this position, I want to strengthen our chapter’s Panhellenic love by co-programming with other sororities on campus and encouraging the women of Alpha Chi Omega to attend as many Panhellenic events as they can.
As VP Recruitment, it is my job to aid the chapter in recruiting new women for the Zeta Psi chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. I am beyond excited to have this opportunity to meet many amazing women from all walks of life and to help the Zeta Psi chapter to truly seek the heights
VP RISK MANAGEMENT
I love being VP Risk Management because to me the most important thing in Alpha Chi is creating a healthy and fun environment for our members! I intend to do this year round by implementing safety training, spa days, and more!
VP NEW MEMBER EDUCATION
As VP New Member Education, it is my job to teach the values, history, and traditions of Alpha Chi Omega to new members before they are initiated. I help new members adjust to Greek life and help them create bonds and friendships in their new member class as well as in the chapter. I am so excited to be in the position because it allows me to empower each new class of young women for the chapter.
